This Privacy Policy applies to LandAI services, including landai.app, app.landai.app, our mobile apps, parcel lookup tools, shared parcel links, account and billing features, and customer support communications.
Some services we use, such as Stripe, RevenueCat, Firebase, Google, Apple, Mapbox, Google Maps Platform, and ReportAll, may process information under their own privacy policies when they provide authentication, billing, mapping, analytics, hosting, or parcel-data services for LandAI.
2. Information We Collect
Account and contact information
When you create an account, contact us, start a trial, or subscribe, we may collect your name, email address, login provider, account identifiers, subscription status, support messages, and related communication details.
Payment and subscription information
Payments are handled by our billing providers. We may receive subscription status, plan, trial status, renewal dates, cancellation status, customer IDs, invoice summaries, and payment method metadata such as card brand and last four digits. LandAI does not store your full credit card number.
Location, map, and parcel activity
LandAI is a map product, so we may process map center coordinates, selected parcels, tile requests, parcel detail lookups, searches, saved pins, drawn areas, folders, county/FIPS context, zoom levels, and related usage events. If you allow device location access, we use that permission to show your current position on the map and support nearby parcel workflows.
Public-record parcel data
LandAI displays parcel and property information that may come from public records, county sources, data providers, or other lawful data sources. This can include parcel boundaries, owner names, site addresses, mailing addresses where available, parcel IDs, acreage, valuation fields, and similar property records.
Device, browser, and diagnostics
We may collect device type, browser type, operating system, IP address, app version, log events, error reports, performance data, security events, and usage analytics to operate, debug, secure, and improve LandAI.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide maps, parcel boundaries, parcel details, labels, searches, saved content, sharing, exports, and account features.
- Authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
- Process trials, subscriptions, invoices, renewals, cancellations, and entitlement checks.
- Enforce plan limits, including premium county tile and parcel lookup quotas.
- Answer support requests and send service-related messages.
- Measure product usage, improve coverage, prioritize county updates, and troubleshoot issues.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, bill, and operate LandAI.
- Mapping, parcel, geocoding, payment, subscription, authentication, analytics, and infrastructure providers as needed to provide the service.
- Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or when needed to protect rights, safety, security, and integrity.
- A successor or buyer if LandAI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
When you share a parcel, folder, pin, map view, export, or other content, the people you share it with may be able to see the information included in that shared item.
5. Location and Maps
Precise location is optional and controlled by your browser or device settings. If you grant location access, we use it to center the map, show your position, help you understand nearby parcel boundaries, and support map tools. You can revoke location permission at any time through your browser or device settings.
Map and parcel requests may include coordinates, zoom levels, tile identifiers, parcel IDs, county identifiers, and similar technical information so we can return the right map and property data.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can access, update, or delete some account information in the app. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of personal information, subject to legal limits and verification.
You can manage marketing communications by using unsubscribe links when available. Service, billing, security, and account messages may still be sent when necessary.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state, federal, or international law. We will honor applicable rights requests as required.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect sessions, measure usage, debug issues, and improve the product. You can control many of these technologies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect app functionality.
8. Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will always remain secure.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide LandAI, maintain accounts and subscriptions, support legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the service, and improve coverage and reliability. We may retain aggregated, de-identified, or public-record data longer where appropriate.
9. Children's Privacy
LandAI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the service or by another reasonable method. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
